FAQs

Is the ceramic tableware safe for children? What about lead and cadmium?

This is the most important question! Our ceramic tableware is absolutely safe. We use high-fire, durable ceramic and ensure all glazes are certified lead-free and cadmium-free. This has been subjected to independent third-party testing by SGS to confirm that no harmful heavy metals leach out, meeting FDA 21 CFR. View our full report here.

What grade of stainless steel are the forks and spoons?

Our cutlery is made from premium, food-grade 304 (18/8) Stainless Steel. This grade is the industry standard for high-quality food contact products. It is naturally BPA-free, highly resistant to rust and corrosion, and does not impart any metallic taste to food.

What is the silicone suction base made of? Is it safe?

The base is made from 100% Food-Grade Silicone. This material is naturally non-toxic, free from BPA, PVC, Phthalates, and is gentle on your little one's hands and your table surface. It is designed to create a strong suction seal to prevent spills and plate-tipping.

Can I put the ceramic plates and bowls in the dishwasher and microwave?

Yes, the ceramic plates and bowls (once the silicone base is removed) are safe for the dishwasher and microwave. The stainless steel cutlery is also dishwasher-safe. We recommend hand-washing the silicone base to preserve its suction integrity over time, though it is top-rack dishwasher safe.

Is the ceramic tableware breakable?

As with all ceramic products, yes, it can break if dropped from a significant height or slammed against a hard surface. However, our ceramic is specially designed to be thick and durable to withstand the typical bumps of toddler use. We focus on durability to give you a long-lasting, plastic-free alternative.

What if my ceramic piece arrives chipped or breaks soon after purchase?

We take extreme care in our packaging, but if any piece arrives damaged, please contact us immediately for a free replacement. We also offer a 30-Day Worry-Free Warranty against manufacturing defects. This includes, but is not limited to, issues with the stainless steel finish, flaws in the ceramic glaze, and separation of the silicone suction base from the ceramic.
